Hi, I’m Jasper – a local tour guide in Bruges

I’m Jasper, a local guide who loves walking through Bruges and sharing the stories behind its streets, canals and hidden corners. Most days, I’m joined by Jack the beagle, who takes his role as tour companion very seriously.

I spent more than 10 years working in the Port of Bruges, where ships, trade and history were part of everyday life. Today, you’ll find me guiding boats on the canals or leading walking tours through the city, telling the stories that make Bruges more than just a postcard.

I believe the best way to discover Bruges is with a local. Not through a fixed script or textbook history, but through real stories, legends and small details most people walk past without noticing.

My tours are relaxed and interactive. We take our time, ask questions, and let the city guide the route. Whether you’re visiting Bruges for the first time or returning to see it differently, I’ll make sure you experience the city in an easygoing and personal way.
